Digital photos can look great, but some labs won’t print those that appear too professional

The absurdity of stores such as Wal-Mart trying to enforce other people’s copyrights to avoid lawsuits prevents people from printing their own pictures:

At least some sign of something sensible:

Photographers used to take photos and then charge clients for copies of the images, he said. Now, more and more professional photographers are charging for their time spent taking the photos.

  1. I do NOT think this is silly. Many people are cheating professional photographers by copying their work. I am happy that Wal-Mart is doing this. I was under the impression that they would print any photo.

  2. I know it depends on your point of view and your interests, but what *is* silly is that Wal-Mart’s policy sometimes prevents people from printing *their own* pictures.
